Understanding the challenges of tibial nailing
Studies have shown that fractures in the proximal third of the tibia may be particularly susceptible to malalignment.1 Furthermore, malunions have the potential to alter contact areas in the knee and ankle joints, potentially increasing the risk of further complications.2
